About this Product
Begin creating adorable charms by learning the basic steps of brick stitch beading. Brick stitch is the method many prefer when weaving charms in fun sizes and irregular shapes. The process is quite simple and repetitive. With practice, you will master the brick stitch technique and be able to bead-weave a variety of two-dimensional charms. You might even consider designing your own unique patterns!
The diagrams and instructions in this 12-page document are downloadable and printable. It will guide you through the following steps.
Learn to build the foundation row for your projects. Two different methods will be featured.
Learn to increase the length of your bead row.
Learn to decrease the length of your bead row.
Show off your skills by beading a mini beaded heart charm.
This is the suggested material list:
Miyuki Delica (cylinder) beads, size 11/0. You can use any color that you want. Available at your favorite craft shop, bead store, and many online beading websites.
Fireline thread, 6lb Crystal. Fireline is a non-stretchy fishing line usually found at fishing stores or bead shops. I suggest Fireline for brick stitch because it's a stiffer thread that helps keep a consistent tension (but everyone has their favorite thread!).
Beading needle, size 12, any brand. It’s just the right fit and makes my projects much easier and more enjoyable.
Please note that due to the nature of the product, returns and refunds are not accepted for digital sales.
